Our Mission

Our mission is to improve and impact the lives of as many kids at both of our conveniently located clinics in Owasso and Bixby. Our therapists meet our kids and families right where they are so that they feel supported and cared for in order to promote the most positive treatment outcome for your child.

Our Vision

Our therapists strive to provide consistent and compassionate care for your child while providing useful and practical tools for parents to share with teachers, caregivers, and family members in order to improve the quality of life of our patients and families. We keep your child’s care confidential through a safe clinical environment while coordinating care with your child’s physician, school professionals, and other healthcare professionals.

Yes, you need a referral from your child’s pediatrician to receive Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services. A majority of insurance companies and especially Soonercare require a physician referral from an authorized Soonercare physician. The physician referral MUST be received at the preferred Bixby or Owasso Strides Therapy clinic before your child can be scheduled for an initial evaluation.

We service any child from 0-18 years old.

We are open Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 1pm. You can contact our scheduling department for any times outside of those hours, and we will accommodate your scheduling needs as best as possible. We are closed both Saturday and Sunday so that our therapists can spend time with their families!

We accept all major credit cards, HSA, FSA, check, and cash payments. Credit Card, HSA, and FSA payments are our most common form of payment and our policy is to have a credit card, HSA, or FSA card on file for convenient payment. Our billing staff will always discuss patient payments in a friendly and open manner before any charges are applied to your card on file.

After you schedule your initial evaluation with our front office staff, please expect an hour for your child to be evaluated by one of our Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapists. You can bring any past documentation from previous treatments, school IEPs, or any medical history from your physician you feel is pertinent to your child’s treatment. We ask that one parent or family member is present during evaluation in order to answer medical history questions and to communicate expectations for therapy treatment outcomes.

We offer individualized treatment sessions to help your child progress and meet their specific therapy goals. Your child will be one on one with their therapist and we strive to keep your
child’s therapist consistent throughout their care as we feel this best helps them reach their goals. Our therapy sessions are typically weekly and last from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your child’s needs. Your therapist is always available to update you on your child’s progress and answer any questions you may have in regards to your child’s care. We do not require a parent or family member to be present during treatment sessions but parent or family members are always welcome. If you do attend, we ask that only 1 family member or parent is present due to limited space in our treatment areas as well as to protect the safety and privacy of other kids receiving treatment.

You will receive a text reminder 24 hours BEFORE your child’s appointment. We ask that you cancel your appointment when or before you receive the reminder text so that we may offer that spot to other patients. It is important to us to be able to offer as many appointment times to our patients in order to meet their therapy needs as well as respect our therapists time while they are available to treat our patients. Consistent failure to notify us 24 hours in advance could result in a cancellation fee of $25.

Please arrive on time for your therapy appointment. If you are going to be late for your appointment, we understand, please notify us in advance with the understanding that your treatment time may be reduced due to your therapist’s other scheduled appointments.

Your appointment will be marked as “no show” if we do not receive communication by text, phone, email 24 hours in advance of your child’s appointment. After 3 “no show” appointments, your child will be removed from their weekly appointment time slot and be placed on our waiting list. You may call in or we may call you with any open time slots that may become available due to other patient cancellations.

Yes, a grandparent, significant other, or friend may bring your child for their weekly appointments as long as you consent for that person to bring them to therapy. We ask that the person who brings your child to therapy be familiar with their medical and therapy treatment history.
